• It must be the patient’s desire to receive Christian Science nursing services.
• The patient’s only purpose for admission is spiritual healing – actively relying on God through Christian Science treatment.
• The patient must be receiving on-going treatment from a Christian Science Practitioner listed in The Christian Science Journal. Prior to admission, the practitioner will be contacted to verify that treatment is being given.
• The patient must be free from medical methods of treatment including medications.
• On-going Christian Science treatment and frequent communication between patient and practitioner will continue during the patient’s stay.
• The patient must study the weekly Bible Lesson. They will be encouraged to utilize additional reference materials provided by the facility.
• The expectation of the patient and nursing staff is always complete healing.
